Düsseldorf at Low Water Levels - A Rare Sight.

Unusual Situation: In the summer of 2026, I experienced an extremely low water level of the Rhine in Oberkassel. I had never seen anything like it before. The ships barely managed to navigate through the dried-up river.

Nature in Transition: Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any mammoth bones, which dampened the experience a bit. I hope nature recovers soon, even though I don’t plan to seek out this experience again. It was an impressive yet concerning sight.
